We love our City Mini! We used it with the carseat adapter until LO was sitting up. Its to easy to fold and get in and out of the car.

Before you decide, go to stores and test out strollers. Put your purse in the stroller and push it around the store. Also try open and close it as well as lift it. This will give you an idea of how much of a pain it will be day to day.

A friend recommended using a BOB as an everyday stroller. I thought about it, but decided against it after closing one and attempting to get it in my car. Its just too bulky and heavy for me to use on a daily basis.

We went with the Britax B-ready for a few reasong. Originally I was in the UBV camp, but I found that the B-ready has many more options and configurations for a second seat than the UBV. I also like that I don't need an adaptor to attach the infant seat to the stroller since they are from the same company (we got the Britax chaperone infant seat). It's been great, handles like a DREAM (I used my SIL's graco travel system this weekend and there is a noticable difference!) it's been an awesome investment.

Another vote for the UB Vista! I live in the burbs and use my stroller daily on walks, shopping, etc. I love it and people stop me all the time to ask about it. It has the best basket I have seen and I love how high baby sits. I am used to folding it now and it fits in the trunk of my Murano easily. It might be difficult if it was being stored in the trunk of a car.

We live in the burbs and we have the UBV. I love it and cannot say enough good things about it. I use it almost everyday to run errands with my LO (shopping, groceries, etc.) so I'm constantly taking it in and out of my car. I am 110 lbs and don't find it heavy, and I was able to find it for a steal on zulily so it wasn't 'ridiculously expensive.' it can be a pain to fold sometimes but otherwise I have no complaints.

The other stroller I see all the time in my area is the City Select. These two definitely seem to be the most popular.

If you're choosing between City Mini and B-Agile (which I THINK it what we're down to, although I like the B-Nimble, too, which sadly I can't find in a store) I have read in reviews that the B-Agile is great for long legs...possibly better than City Mini? I'm sure you could walk both around the store and see if either had an advantage for you there. I love that both are really light and easy to fold.

I live in the 'burbs and love my UppaBaby Vista. It's not AS easy to fold up as something like the City Mini, but it's not hard and you do get used to it. We bought it with the car seat adapter and love it.
If you are going to be taking it to the park and places that are "off sidewalk", its great- the wheels are sturdy and it's a pretty smooth ride over grass/bumpy terrain.

We got the City Mini for when she's a bit older and the Chicco Caddy frame to use until then. I've heard that the carseat adapter for the City Mini isn't very good so we decided to spend the extra $40 for the Chicco frame that we'll be able to snap the seat right in. We haven't used either yet, since LO isn't quite here....so hope this works for us!

I know the Uppa Baby Vista is really popular on this board, but I wouldn't recommend it for the 'burbs. It's quite heavy and not the easiest stroller to fold, so if you're having to carry it and put it in a trunk all the time, it can get annoying. When I had it, we were in the city and we never had to fold it or carry it, and that's when I think the big (and usually pricier) strollers are more ideal. Granted, one could just get really accustomed to dealing with it in the burbs, but I think there are a lot of other solid choices out there.

You've got a lot of good suggestions so far... the stroller frame to start out with is really awesome for the majority of the first year. It was one purchase I didn't make with my first daughter that I absolutely had to have for #2, and am glad we got it the second time around. The City Mini is a good all around stroller, as is the Bob (especially if you jog), IMO. Definitely check out as many strollers as you can IRL though. That makes all the difference!

We got a bugaboo (frog) from Craigslist at a really reasonable price ($200 I think) and it came with everything (bassinet, rain cover, stroller attachments and even a bundle me). Might want to look into that if you don't want to pay a ton but want a nicer stroller!

@blackbird: You could also just get a small snap and go type frame for the carseat, and evaluate when you will need after the baby is born and you see what you really do with her/him. Since you will be driving most places, you'd want to pop the carseat onto whatever you buy anyway.
That said, I know I'd want to decide right away anyway :)

OP, I was going to suggest the city mini. My friends who live in the burbs love it and apparently folding it down with one hand is super easy. I've seen my friend do and it looked easy, though I couldn't actually figure it out myself.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I don't even know what we'll need and what we'll use it for. I do have an SUV so that makes it easier but it's not like we never go places...I'm just not sure which would work best. I'd hate to buy something and then regret the purchase or find that what I bought is just a PITA. And I really hate to go cheap and then wish I'd just spent the money in the end. I'm adding these all to my list to look over, though!

Oh, also, my legs are long and I notice with things like shopping carts, I'll hit my shins on the bar. So I definitely don't want that issue with a stroller

We got the Jeep Liberty, we use it all the time. It lives in the back of the car, so I have it for the zoo and stores. We hike a lot, so off-road capability was important to us. It is heavy, so I do plan on a cheap umbrella stroller when I get a baby belly again and can't lift it. It was $175, and for us I could not justify spending more than that for a stroller.
