We have the Joovy Caboose Ultralight and love it! I didn't use it with an infant seat tho, so don't have an opinion about space.

We have the Lascal buggy board. It cost $80, as much as the stroller, but we couldn't get a double stroller because it just doesn't work for us (we deal with lots of stairs and stores with narrow aisles). It goes on and off easily, DS likes it, and we could probably resell it eventually for almost original price, judging by the fact that I couldn't find a used board that cost less :silly:

@agold: I wanted the vista originally, but we're in NYC and went with the narrower Cruz since all hallways/aisles/etc in the city are so narrow. Lots of people here have the Vista but the decision to go with the Cruz was clinched for us after dh saw a couple w a vista struggling to go down the escalator at our subway stop bc it was just barely too wide

@nana87: Thanks. I'm just on my first right now and am struggling with choosing between the vista and cruz. I want the cruz, but i also hope to have a second by the time baby number 1 turns 2 or shortly thereafter. Strollers are tough to pick!

@agold: hopefully 2.5-3 years apart--we just had a cp last month that would have given us a 2.5 year difference almost exactly, so I'm hoping it doesn't us take too long to have a sticky pregnancy...

We have the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Too for my almost 3 year old and 3 month old. Our Chicco Keyfit fits well but the seat has to be reclined to the middle setting to use an infant seat so DS does not have much room at all to use the bench while DD is in the car seat. He loves riding on the platform though. The "Too" version has the extra seat you can snap in to make it a double (you can buy it separately as well) which we haven't used yet.

definitely not cheap, but we got the uppababy cruz before lo was born (have used with a bassinet and car seat as well as the regular seat) and plan to keep using it with the piggy back board when we have a 2nd.

Just so you know, when I tested the joovy ultralight, if my oldest (3, average size) was sitting in the back and the car seat was in the front, she had very little room and had to hunch over. I disliked that greatly (and so did she). I have the baby trend sit and stand and love it because the car seat can go in the front or back. I have a chicco and it is technically incompatible, but it fits just fine. My oldest, for now, dislikes the ride along board we got for our uppababy cruz, and prefers sitting in this stroller instead, so she's in the front seat and the car seat is behind her (I prefer being closer to the baby anyway). I got it for $100 at babies r us after using their coupon I got for trading in an item. It's definitely not high end, but gets the job done and everyone is happy!

@Applesandbananas: we have a graco seat. You need to get an adapter but that is the case for lots of strollers so I didn't really consider that. We were unable to use our old graco seat with it though so that was kind of a bummer.

We have the Joovy qool with the snap on ride on board and it's been good for us at 4.5 months in! You can use the car seat or the seat that comes with the stroller and it can face either way. We got it less than $300 on sale but the ride on board was $50 or $60 I think. Still cheaper than many of the others though!

Or a bench kind of seat?

Does anyone have something like this? If so, do you like it? What brand is it?

Ideally I'd like something I can snap the infant seat into, with a place for my toddler (will be 3.5 when baby arrives) to stand or sit, without it being a full blown double stroller. He hates our umbrella stroller, but I think he might ride on the board or sit in a bench seat.

Any suggestions? Bonus points if it's under $200! We don't use our stroller a ton.
