Oof, I remember this shortness of breath... it really was frightening at times. I carried Wagon Jr. really high and when he dropped I literally felt like someone had loosened a tight metal corset from around my chest!!! Hang in there :T and if it gets really concerning I'd see a doctor or a chiropractor who specializes in prenatal care.

It definitely did get better for me, but I remember being particularly bad around 6 months. The last month or so were much easier.Hope it gets better for you soon!

I'm 32 weeks and only have trouble when I'm walking a lot or sitting/laying in certain positions. I'm carrying super low however.

I'm sure once baby drops you'll feel better! Hang in there!

I don't remember when it started for me, but it did get a little bit better once baby dropped. I'm only 5ft tall so there wasn't much room for him to drop. If you're taller, you might get some extra relief.

I know what it's like - the problem is when you start thinking about it. You really notice and then you think, "I can't breathe!" a lot of it was mental for me - the panic at least. Supposedly it gets better when your belly drops (mine never did). But my only advice is not to dwell on it, which I know is hard.

Goodness! That sounds rough. Are there certain positions that make it easier to breathe? I didn't have those troubles until I was a little further along. I had to prop myself with pillows at night and sleep reclined. It got much better when she dropped and gave my lungs some room

I know it's totally normal to get short of breath during pregnancy due decreased lung capacity, but it's getting really hard in the last couple weeks.
I don't even have to move, just laying here in bed I'm gasping for air. I feel like I'm constantly on the verge of a panic attack when I can't get a full breath.

I'm only 27 weeks, how much worse is this going to get?!
