I know I've read how BPA affects sperm count too. We avoid BPA as much as possible but it is amazing how much it has permeated our lives. </p> <p>@MrsBrewer: Probably it is ok but there are some other questionable things in plastic like phthalates which might still be in there despite being BPA free (I believe BPA is one type of phthalate?) It might make more sense to just put a glass plate over your food as it heats if you are worried about it. I avoid them. I did find out that most of trader joes canned foods do not contain BPA though! It's a PITA because BPA is in everything.
