The community nurse that came to my home to visit the baby after he was born explained that the official stance of the CPA (Canada's AAP) is no blankets including swaddles -- they recommend just sleep sacks to keep baby warm. I plan on having her in the rock and play next to my bed. My question is... Am I supposed to swaddle her and then put her in there? She does love agood swaddle. I know they aren't supposed to sleep with loose blankets.. But are they not supposed to sleep in a wrapped swaddling blanket?? </p>
