The online chat person I spoke with said it was a hardware issue and basically offered me a refurbished phone that I could purchase. I was using the assistive touch for almost a week until I was looking at my phone and saw that it was wider on the ends. I think most/all of them require you to jailbreak your phone though. Not sure if this is an option.<br /> I know my sister has a phone with a broken home button and she downloaded an app that puts a little floating button on the screen that takes her 'home'.
