She's 10 months right now and she waves "hi" on command (most of the time) and gives me and hubby slobbery kisses (about 50% of the time). Gonna work on "Give to mama" whatever's in her hand next. :)

My 10 month old can spit his pacifier out on demand, in two languages! He's so advanced, lol. Next week, he's going to learn to read!

I taught DD how to help us with chores. She winds the cuckoo clock, puts wet clothes from the washer into the dryer, and shuts and turns on the dishwasher. I figure this is the only time she will ever do those chores willingly, so I might as well take advantage!

The below is Charlie's version of Stupid Pet Tricks:

1. Give This To Mommy

If you hand him an item and say, "Give this to Mommy"... he will immediately run with his little legs and find Mommy and give ithe item to her. Then if she gives him something and says, "Give this to Daddy"... he will race back to give it to me.

As you can imagine, sometimes Bee and I go to opposite corners of the house and tire him out by having him Give This To Mommy/Give This To Daddy over and over!

2. Blowing Kisses

When someone walks away from Charlie, he usually makes a big deal out of shouting out a dramtic, "BYYYEEEEEEE!!" The best part is that he will often blow them a big kiss: "MUUUUAH!" Even cranky people crack a smile when he does that.

3. Jumpy Jump

Charlie likes to climb to the top of a brownstone staircase, and then jump down one step at a time. He holds my hand when he does it, and he can even do it on command. I just say, "Jumpy Jump?" and he scampers up the stairs to await for the order to start jumping.

Sadly, these are some of his best tricks even though he's 22 months old. I need to up his game and teach him something really fancy!

Do you have any stupid pet tricks you've taught to your little one?
