I've never thought twice about throwing them in with our clothes. I used to have a small trashcan under the sink to collect them when we lived in a duplex and couldn't do that though. I would just collect them when I was going down to do laundry. Most all of them were used to wipe things down with vinegar so smell wasn't ever an issue. Growing up the laundry was right beside the kitchen so we just tossed them in. But now I have it in the basement, so I just end up with a pile of dirty rags and bibs by the basement door. If I toss them in with our clothes hamper, they smell and I like to do all of those things together anyway. Do you just have a hamper in your kitchen?</p> <p>This is one of those embarrassingly stupid questions that has plagued me for years. </p>
