Her symptoms were red rimmed eyes, pinkish tint to the white of her eyes and yellow discharge/gunk all over her lashes. </p> <p>Good news was that after 24 hrs on eye drops she was able to return to daycare. Bad news is putting eye drops in a squirmy infant/toddler who doesn't want them can be tough. Does he have a lump? Maybe it's pink eye? We're going to the doctor today to make sure. If it's pink eye, he'll have to stay home from daycare.</p> <p>Has your LO gotten stye or pinkeye in the past? What were the symptoms like, and how could you tell which one it was? </p>
