I think the contrast is nice against the white dove. And it ties in with the darker veins in the granite so maybe you won’t notice the granite as much. </p> <p>While I also agree the gold/ antique brass color is sort of trendy, for cabinet hardware I think that’s not a bad place to go with a trendier look since it’s easy and cheap enough to replace down the line (vs a light fixture or something). But in this case I still prefer the dark. I think it would look lovely with your dove white cabinets, sink &amp; lighting fixtures, and the granite countertops. We have a bunch to change elsewhere. The owners had a weird mix of brushed nickel and bronze...<br /> I’d say our style is more traditional. We’re doing some minor updates on our kitchen, which was put in new by the previous owners about 6 years ago. We’re going to be painting the black molding and cabinets to match the off white (dove white—looks very off white), and keeping the granite which isn’t my style but no way are we shelling out to replace almost new granite. For the pulls should I do gold/champagne bronze, or bronze? I want to brighten it up, but I’m afraid gold is trendy and might not match enough.
