Maybe a darker oatmeal? Honestly, that one will be the easiest-probably will end up just doing a crew neck sweater and she's a normal size that can fit in anything, so shouldn't be hard to shift if needed. I think I'm going with the more brownish dress, because I'm afraid the pink will make the baby's RED hair look too red. And will keep an eye out for scarves or other accessories in the red/orange from Olivia's dress. I'll wait till it arrives to see exactly what color it ends up being. Not sure about tights, maybe ivory for the girls and navy tights/leggings for me? It works out perfectly because she will be the star in photos since the eye will be drawn to her patterned dress! I would definitely so solids for the rest of you. Choosing muted versions of the dress colors is a safe bet. So is navy. I do feel like black slacks is not the best choice. It’s fine but I think jeans on her would look better. We are ordering this dress for Olivia. Now we all need to figure out what to wear. This is for adoption day and for family photos/adoption announcements. I would like to wear either a sweater, jeans and my cognac knee high boots, or a dress with leggings and the boots. DW has a nice pair of black slacks and a white dress shirt with stars on it, so she will probably wear that. I might make her pick a new shirt with a color though, or wear nice jeans instead of the black slacks. And then there's the baby, who has bright red hair and blue eyes. Color ideas?
