@bluestriped bee: Thank you! It was heartbreaking for sure. I am hoping FETs work for both of us! My RE was really optimistic about our chances with FET and said the research is really encouraging that they are better than fresh cycles. *HUGS*

@Sunshine1810: So sorry about your second IVF cycle. :crying: As someone who skipped the fresh cycle, I'm hoping FETs work for both of us! Hugs to you!!

@Sunshine1810: I am so sorry for your loss. I did not have success with my fresh cycle, but my first FET afterwards did work and I have a 16 month old now! I really think you should have great hope that an FET will work for you. Totally agree that the FETs are a lot less taxing on your body. Wishing you much luck the next time around :goodluck: .

@Leialou: I'm so sorry for your loss! :( My RE did talk to me about the evidence of FET's being more successful so that gave me some hope.

@meganmp: Thank you! Thanks for sharing your story, that's wonderful :)

@brady80: Thank you! That's good to hear. The fresh cycles are so physically and emotionally draining, that the thought of going into another one is just hard to take. I'm glad to hear that FET's aren't quite as difficult!

@brady80: I agree, it is way less emotionally draining! I found the fresh cycle to be so difficult. I was in a lot of pain the following weeks while my ovaries shrank back to their normal size. It's not something I care to do again.

I had two fresh IVF's (one ended is miscarriage, the other ectopic) and then a successful FET. There is evidence that FET's are more successful because your body is not filled with all the medications, I also found it to be less emotionally draining. Good luck!!

I believe several bees here have! I think there is some evidence that FETs are more successful because your body's hormones are at a more natural state. I did get pregnant after a failed fresh cycle. Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage and we don't have any embies left.

I am just looking for some encouraging stories! My first IVF cycle failed and I had none to freeze. My second IVF cycle is now ending with a blighted ovum, but I have 7 frosties left. I am very concerned that given how my fresh cycle went, that there might not be any hope for my 7 frozen embies from the same batch. Has anyone had success with a FET after a failed IVF cycle?
