@lalalove Thanks! I started taking it when I got a positive pregnancy test. I called my ob as soon as I knew I was pregnant and they called it in for me that day.

I used progesterone suppositories during my third pregnancy after two miscarriages. Had a successful pregnancy and a beautiful baby boy! I have no idea if the progesterone helped but will definitely be using it when we conceive again.

I used it to help my short LP and took it 12 weeks into pregnancy. It worked for me and we're using it again to ttc #2. Best of luck to you.

I took it for my 4th pregnancy after two consecutive losses. No data on progesterone in the first or second pregnancy. The third pregnancy testing showed high progesterone, but ended in miscarriage. It is possible the progesterone dropped, as no testing was done after my initial visit at 4ish weeks. Standard RPL testing came back with no issues. My OB prescribed oral progesterone immediately once he confirmed the last pregnancy. Test results taken but not returned at the same appt (so before taking any supplements) once again showed high progesterone. I kept taking it though as we don't know if it would drop naturally and it is risky to take the supplement away in the first tri if you already started. I also took baby aspirin and did acupuncture. I would have done just about anything my doctor approved or prescribed, as I don't think I could handle a third loss. My luck changed and that pregnacy resulted in a healthy happy baby. Maybe the two losses were chromosomal or maybe it was the acupuncture, baby aspirin or progesterone. I don't know, but I would do it all exactly the same again to get this sweet little boy. Best wishes to you in your journey!

I was always precribed it after my IUIs my RE just did ot as a pre-caution...
With this pregnancy I concieved with no IUI or meds, but had my progestrone drawn my numbers dropped a little and I had some left iver from a failed IUI so he said just take it, I did and I'm 23 weeks :) I don't know if I needed it or not, but it can't hurt in my opinion, just can be pricey $$

Our RE said we could start TTC again since our RPL panel came back normal. She said all of her patients take progesterone suppositories during their first trimester. I've found a lot of conflicting information on using them to prevent miscarriages. I've never had my level checked because my ob didn't believe in checking progesterone. Has anyone taken them to prevent a miscarriage without knowing if they tend to have low levels during pregnancy?
