I had that final kick to get things done with the burst of energy. Now I'm 39 weeks and exhausted. Enjoy it while you can!

My midwife told me if I had a crazy sudden burst of energy to mention it. About 4 days before I went into labor I spent a day cleaning & scrubbing the floors on my hands & knees cause it felt like the baby wouldn't come until that was done, lol. My LO arrived a day before her due date. I think it's a pretty common thing.

Your baby is probably lower. It gives your lungs more room, so you can breath easier. I was in a groggy fog with my pregnancy with S cause she was way up high. Once she dropped, I felt so much better.

Are you getting more hungry, too? That happens, too, when baby drops.

I definitely had more energy at the end...however, my doctors also thought I wouldn't reach 40 weeks and I made it to 41  good luck!!!

I had the same thing happen around that time, and baby girl is still hanging out at 38.5 weeks. Get stuff done while you can! At this point I'm sore, hungry, and tired at night.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and at my last appointment my doctor didn't feel like I'd make it to 40 weeks. I noticed yesterday that I could breathe easier and that I'm peeing more so I assumed baby is starting to drop. Now I'm noticing this huge sudden burst of energy. The last two nights I've stayed at work till 7 (I'm a teacher), have come home and done baby stuff and am staying up way later. Now I'm up over an hour early for work ready to go!

Is this nesting? A sign of things progressing? Did it happen to you?
