I know they're a lot more effective than pumps! This happened to me this morning-I was so upset that I was only able to pump 1.5 oz before work rather than my usual 4 or 5... But after work, I managed to get 6.5 oz during naptime. I pumped as usual at breakfast and got a decent amount, then replaced my usual 9am pump session with a nursing session because I took LO to the pediatrician and just did my noon pump session and got...zero ounces. Pump's working fine, in the wrong part of my cycle for my supply to dip, been eating steel cut oats and drinking Mother's Milk tea. I have no idea what on earth is going on. I managed to hand express half an ounce on one side and zero on the other.</p> <p>This is not the day for this to happen. I can't do an afternoon pump session because I have an offsite meeting that I'm carpooling to.</p> <p>Any thoughts? Advice? Did my boobs hear me discussing supplementing with the pediatrician and give up? </p>
