I know that putting him in when I was just starting to fill the tub and then leaving the water running helped a lot. He loves playing there. DS still loves when the bathwater is running, at age 2! We didn't go through this at 9 mos but I second leaving it running. She used to LOOOOVE bath time and suddenly was scared of water! It was just a phase (lasted a few weeks) but those few weeks were brutal. I tried bubbles and toys and even sitting in the bathtub with her and nothing worked. The running water idea is a good one. We always have the faucet running and she loves playing with the water (cups,pouring, etc). I think it was separation anxiety related, maybe related to a signal that it would be bed time soon. Nothing changed, he just all of a sudden liked it again! I thought maybe it was being cold after the bath, but we have gone through much colder temperatures outside, and he was fine. </p> <p>This is what makes me think it's just a phase? Anyone else experience this? Will he grow out of it and love bath time again? </p>
