In our case, it's definitely that DD now understands that bathtime comes before bedtime, and she doesn't want bedtime. Fill up the tub? My son was always a little sketched out by tubs so he gets clean by standing up with the water running out of the faucet. It's like a mini shower. I have just been dealing with the meltdowns.. But new toys sounds like a great idea I will have to try that. If she had choked, slipped, or got something in her eye I'm sure DH would know (she's choked while trying to drink the water in the past &amp; he told me what happened). And nothing that ages watched has done anything about baths. Noone bathes her but DH so I know it wasn't something at grandmas or something. Idk... I'm sure it's just a phase (she's been very team mom &amp; had some separation anxiety lately too)... I just hope it passes soon! I've been able to ask my daughter to wash her bath toys - that has helped to keep her in the water longer. My 22 month old watched an episode of Curious George where all the bath toys go down the drain, and she was massively freaked out. She said he acted so scared, so she would suit up and sit in the tub with him. I gifted them some Nemo bath toys and she said he eventually got over it. He just took swimming lessons with us in June and loves water again. What did you do? She's down to getting a bath only when she's dirty b/c it's such an ordeal! :( </p>
