I like that it's portable so I could easily take it from changing table to glider. We have the blue one and it stays on in DS's room all night. When it was in our room for the first few months it was never too annoying. It glows different colors and the warmer ones red, orange, purple are easy on the eyes. My least favorite is blue, but the colors all continuosly fade in and out. We only used the nightlight in the baby's room.
