@Sugar.Biscuit: Gahh, I remember that feeling of them crowding to one side! It was soooo painful! One of the boys kept his head lodged directly under my left rib cage and after they were born, there was a stretched out pocket of skin from where his head was for like a week! Hang in there, it feels like time is dragging now, but it'll pass soon enough!

@twodoghouse: how fun! We're having B/G twins also. I'm hanging in there. Hit 32 weeks on Thursday & put my two week notice in on Monday. I'm SO over working. Babies like to share my right side & have been causing a lot of stretching & rib pains. Its time for me to take it easy & start nesting :-)

@Sugar.Biscuit: I'm doing well! This week we had our first perinatologist appointment and found the babies are growing perfectly. They also measured my cervix and it's doing well at 4.25. We found out that we're having one girl and one boy, which we are so excited about! How have you been feeling??

@littleredhairedgrl: congratulations! I didn't do much planning or buying till we were in the second trimester & knew the genders. one of the best things I have done is buy stuff off FB consignment groups & craigs list. Most of our clothes, CD, & our stroller is second hand. Somethings have a little staining but those can be worn at home everything else is in great condition! I got an almost new city mini for $150, the stroller we had registered for wasn't as nice & cost twice as much!

I'm 29+5 today so it'll be interesting to see how things progress into parenthood & what we ended up using & not using. @twodoghouse: this goes to you as well sugar! Congratulations! I've felt so alone on these boards lately that it will be good to have some company!

@LovelyPlum: Thanks! We just got a Keurig for DH's birthday. I plan on breast feeding but will keep this in my back up bank.

What did you twin momma's do for bottles? What ones did you buy & how many? Did you get different colored bottles for each baby to keep them separate or did they share? I don't understand why one would worry about keeping them separate. Is there something about that I should know?

@Sugar.Biscuit: my SIL got one for me (I also have the above one I ordered but haven't used it yet). I've used it a couple times (while around the house) and it did help some. It wasn't a miracle worker but it did provide some relief. I haven't worn it outside the house since its kinda big/goes around my neck, etc & would definitely show unless I was wearing a big ol sweater. Heh.

Also, I thought of a couple more things that I don't think I posted before. If/When you start getting super uncomfortable, try swimming or even just taking a bath. I'm so not a bath person, but water was the only thing that made me feel comfy in those last couple months, so any non-working hour I pretty much lived in a pool or bath tub. :)

Also, you cannot have enough meals in the freezer. Seriously. I wish I still had a freezer full now, but they were sooooo helpful in the first few months.

I didn't get one - I didn't have a lot of back pain so I didn't think it would help. I never thought of it for hip and pelvis pain though - that (and being super out of breath) was what made it hard to get around at the end!

I wanted to get this one going again as time starts ticking away. We will hopefully find out the gender of the babies this week so the shopping may begin! Is there anything else you ladies have thought of or wish to add?

I was curious if anyone bought a belly band for extra support. It feels like the babies are still very low & I tend to have a lot of pressure on my stomach just above the pubic area. Did you get one? Did you like it? etc, etc, etc. (Now that i have aaid that i must go watch "The King & I")

I'm tagging you all to bring this to your attention. Thanks for all your help ladies!

@Sugar.Biscuit: I only found 1 unopened bag. Not sure how many is in it, maybe 10? If u want it, pm me your address. Btw, it's honey suckle, not honey bee.

Re: high chairs, we got 2 stoke Tripp trapp, which is really nice, but expensive, so not a necessity. We did get 2 fisher price booster seat that's very cheap, considering, that we've used since 6 months til now....on the floor lol. Not on the chair, which is how it should be used. Is just nice and easy.

Re: pump, I got mine as a gift, but found out my insurance did not pay for it. This was about 15 months ago or so, so things prolly changed by now.

I bf every 2-3 hours and pumped after I put them to bed, so around 7/8 and then 10/11 or so. I fed them a bottle to bed. in the beginning, I fed them formula...until I built up a stash. I used to pump around 8oz a session - ranging from like 6 to 10, depending... If I didn't make enough, I didn't feel bad supplementing with formula. Sometimes, I had enough bm, other times I fed them bm first and supplemented with formula, other times, I just gave formula. I usually pumped in the evenings and when they woke up around 1, I'd pump after I fed them a bottle of what I pumped early. I did build a 5-day stash so I was able to keep feeding them bm, until I had to take antibiotics and was only pumping and dumping for awhile and my supply definitely took a hit. So I was able to bf on demand, but no more stash and i never really built one up after that. I think it's doable as long as u have the supply and can pump regularly. If u only pump like every 5 hours, you won't make as much as if u pump every 3 hours. If u now what I mean. Anyways, sorry for so much babbling, hopefully it makes sense.

@Sugar.Biscuit: on the pump issue, just contact your insurance and they will let you what is provided. I just contacted mine and I can't get it until a month before I'm due, but mine is covered 100%.
