@travellingbee: @mediagirl:
3 cups Bisquick
4 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 pkg. (16 oz.) sausage (or Turkey)
1/2 cup milk

Mix all together and roll into balls. I think you bake at 350. I always google that part.

- Crockpot spinach artichoke dip with lots of good bread.
- Costco shrimp cocktail platter
- Romesco dip with crudité. This is a good version - don't worry about Marcona almonds - just use slivered toasted almonds instead. Any vinegar will do fine too. Just throw in the food processor! http://www.thekitchn.com/recipe-roasted-red-pepper-amp-marcona-almond-dip-221788

- Hot goat cheese in spicy marinara sauce - SO easy, just heat up some marinara spiked with chili flakes in a skillet until bubbling, nestle in a round of goat cheese in the center, broil in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese starts to soften and serve as is with crackers or bread. It gets mopped up every time.

- We do buffalo pierogies a lot - frozen potato onion pierogies tossed in melted butter and Franks red hot and baked at 375 for 15-20 minutes and serve with celery sticks and dressing. Great for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

- The chicken taquitos they sell at Costco are good! As are the little egg rolls.

- They have good sliced cheese and antipasto meats at Costco too.

A little more labor intensive than a prepared thing, but still easy- prosciutto wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese. I warn them in the oven for 5 minutes or so until the prosciutto is a little crisped and the cheese is melty.

@travellingbee: Yes! I can't imagine one person doing all the cooking. Thanksgiving, Easter, bdays, are all potluck in our family.
You can freeze sausage cheese balls so you can make those a week ahead, defrost and then cook that day.

@travellingbee: Everyone brings something. I think the CFA nuggets and mini quiches are the only thing not made by someone. Well my Aunt has the store steam the shrimp for her too. We have like 40 people at my parents house. We have more food, but those are the staples each year.

I really like the TJ chicken tacos - they're a hit at all of our get-togethers and I serve them with guac. I also like their pigs in a blanket and pork or chicken dumplings.

I'm hosting Christmas Eve this year and I will be 39 weeks pregnant. Haha. We will have 10 guests plus ourselves. I want to do easy appetizers rather than a meal. I'm thinking of some apps I saw at Omaha Steaks (personal Beef Wellingtons), and I was thinking maybe shrimp cocktail. I know Costco and Trader Joes have some good premade apps but I wanted to find out from the hive what easy apps you've found and would serve.
