The only ones she was able to drink from with no fussing at all were the Lansinoh mOmma bottles. We used Born Free bottles, and we've never had any problems with them. Sometimes she's incredibly difficult to burp and her tears are just a little heartbreaking because no amount of jostling helps but she's hungry. Then of course there's the epic hiccups from eating to fast that make things worse. Because of the hiccups, she won't take a pacifier unless it's mom and her trying to feed while hiccuping? I'm practically raw.</p> <p>Looks like I need to go to the store! Thanks for the tips. I know that they were recommended by a friend and they were on my registry the first time around so I guess as a novice to the bottle experience, I just trusted their judgement. Have you played around with the bottle position? J does best if I make the nipple touch the roof of her mouth and kind of swirl it around a bit until she takes it. My girl is fickle and sometimes wants only to nurse and other times only wants a bottle. Now, the breast feeding isn't her fault - I had a breast reduction surgery and therefore don't make enough milk to feed her solely that way. But after giving her a bottle (I'm averaging about four bottles a day, where she'll eat anywhere between 2- 4 ozs) she has the devil of a time latching on. And when she's eating the bottle, she often eats too quickly, has trouble latching onto the bottle nipple, gets frustrated and cries, etc.</p> <p>Now, I'm using the Avent bottles (wide nipple) that I used with DS. He didn't care for them after a few weeks either, as they frustrated him. But unlike DS, DD doesn't drink any better from the Dr. Brown bottles that we have oodles of. So my question is for all the HBs out there - what bottle does your LO drink out of? And has anyone else had this problem? </p>
