@mrsjazz: that looks like it feels amazing! I'm going to try it before bed tonight!

I used what my husband liked to call a BBS. Big belly support. It looks like a back brace and helps support the Belly.

^ right! And try and not sit too long either. lol

I tend to have sciatica nerve issues PLUS an old whiplash injury that effects my neck & shoulders (upper back) so at 24 weeks now my back doesn't particularly like me. =/

My best friend is a hot shower at this point. When it's my hip that's hurting I'll lean forward (bend over) to hold myself up on the opposite end of the shower and fix the shower head to hit that part of my back. It normally loosens up everything & then I can stretch/sway/twist however I need. I also like my heating pad!

If things get too much worse I'll probably be looking into seeing a chiropractor.

I went to physical therapy to relieve my back pain with DS. They showed me how to stretch it and things to do to help. They also massaged it, and that was amazing! Some hospitals offer massages to pregnant ladies, you could see if your local birthing center does that.

I have lower back pain, too. I find that doing cat/cow numerous times when I wake up and before bed help. I've also been doing pelvic tilts and rocking my hips back and forth when I can--I sneak them at work in the bathroom.

If you're not familiar with it: http://yoga.about.com/od/yogasequences/ss/catcow.htm

If it's really bad you might wanna see a chiro or an acupuncturist. Wear comfortable shoes and try not to be on your feet for too long.

I'm 22 weeks now, and for the past couple of weeks I've been waking up every single morning with stifness and pain in my lower back. I've tried putting a pillow between my knees, and not sleeping on my back but no relief. Any other suggestions?
