We did the onesie and A&A sleep sack, but we keep our apt a little warm since we live in AZ & don't want the AC running 24/7.

My LO didn’t like swaddling and blankets so we kept him in cotton long sleeve footed PJs since we ran the A/C all day and night.

My son was in footie pjs and sleep sack until 12 months, then we switched to short sleeve/shorts pjs and still in the sleep sack as he moved into the next size. It was summer and warm.

In the summer we'd still be in long sleeve PJs since we have central air. We don't own any short sleeve PJs :silly:

We would just do a onesie when it was warm. If it got cool at night we’d put a receiving blanket on her. We don’t have AC and the year DD2 was a baby it was sooo hot that we actually had to stop swaddling her early. I prefer the onesie to separates because it keeps the diaper on better.

We did short sleeved jammies and a very light A&A single layer sleep sack.

We keep our house on the cool side, because my husband and I get super hot while we sleep. I'd like to keep using sleep sacks so she stays used to them for the fall and winter, so maybe just a onesie and the sleep sack for sleeping. Thanks everyone

Under 12 months, we do a onesie (either long-sleeve or short-sleeve, depending on temp) under a sleep sack. If it gets really warm (in my mind that's interior temp 76 or higher throughout the night), I would do just the onesie or the sleep sack. I generally get more nervous about my babies overheating than getting chilly overnight (figure if they were really cold they'd wake up and let me know).

Agree that it depends on your house/location. We have AC zones for every single room so it stays plenty cool. So we wear the same PJs year round (cotton long sleeve shirt and pants).

At our shore house last summer it got warm upstairs so we got a bunch of pj sets from old navy - pants and shorts with a short sleeve top. He wore those well into the fall.

Depends how warm or cool your house is. I usually just do cotton jammies. Often shorts and short sleeve shirt because our house gets warm upstairs. At our old house the ac was evenly distributed so DS wore long sleeve stuff still with his regular sleep sack.

My daughter currently sleeps in a long sleeve footie pjs and a fleece sleep sack but as it gets warmer what do I do? I have a cotton sleep sack I will use but what goes under it, still footie pjs, a 1 piece shorts thing, shorts and a top? She will be 6 months in the beginning of May.
