DD is in swimming lessons once a week which she loves, so we'll keep her in those. Otherwise I plan to spend a lot of time in our backyard. We are still recovering from starting school in January (moderately traumatizing for one of the kids; exhausting for both), so we've cut back on activities this spring. Blake seems interested in doing soccer again this year, but Alice wants to do dance. For the first time I might actually put them in completely separate activities! I just have to make sure they can do their activities completely without me since I'll need to be occupying the other kid during classes. We have several memberships to outdoor things plus access to a pool and splash pad nearby. Plus, I'm due in August. If he likes them (they're private) we'll enroll him in more. I'd also like to take the train into the city on a day of and go exploring with him. We're going to the shore at the end of August as well, but that's our annual vacation.</p> <p>With LO2, we're trying to think of things to do with him that are fun and 1:1. It's harder with him because he sort of just goes with the flow of whatever we're doing with his older brother. Activities you've enrolled them in (or are going to) or things on your summer bucket list? </p> <p>At the end of last summer we were all getting bored with the same activities, so I would like to come up with a mini bucket list of ideas we could do. Nothing crazy, just small activities that can be done within a few hours/a day. </p>
