We brought DS home in a thin long sleeve snap shirt and footed pants. A light sleeper would work too. It was cooler and windy the day we went home so we also covered him in a light blnket.

@Littlebit: They are sooooooo soft and snuggly. We have it in a shadowbox now :) She will also send them without monograms!

@T.H.O.U.: So maybe we'll just stick with the sleeper then!

@grizz: Ohhhh! I'm drooling over that Etsy shop. Not sure if we'll have a name picked out before we go to the hospital or not, but if we do this is a definite contender!

We did a soft, pima cotton gown that snapped into a sleeper for the carseat. I got it from Anne Everett Rae on Etsy, and I looooved it. DS was a June baby.

Not a boy momma...

But for my daughter we wished we had something warmer for her. The short sleeve dress was really cold while we were waiting in the hospital to be discharged. I think a sleeper would be totally appropriate.

We'll be having our little guy sometime in September, when it's usually still pretty warm (80 degrees usually). What kind of outfit did you bring him home from the hospital in? Links/pictures would be great! I'm trying to find a cute coming home outfit, but don't know if I should buy long-sleeve or short-sleeve. I was thinking about doing a sleeper, but now I'm thinking that may be too hot?

Asking for boy moms, because if I was having a girl I'd probably do a romper or dress....but that's not helpful when we're having a boy!
