During the weekends she asks to nurse all the time, and she's still waking up 2-3 times at night to nurse as well. I was all for EBF, but I guess I assumed she would start cutting back as she got older! When he was nursing we gave water with his meal. We still do snuggles and rocking just nothing to drink. He didn't start back up when I got home. He was just under 15months. </p> <p>It was about the same age that DD weaned. I went back to work in January, and didn't want to pump! It worked out well. I hadn't had leaking or engorgement in a looooong time, so no problems there. Except he's started pulling my shirt down in public! </p> <p>Honestly, if he decided he was done I'd be ok with that. Sometimes I forget to offer and he doesn't ask, but then I offer the next day due to my own discomfort and we continue. I don't need to wean, but I'd be ok if he did. </p>
