That said, we have year-round sun and are out in it a lot, so I bought LO a pair of polarized sunglasses. She sometimes wants them inside when the sun shines too directly through the windows. "my eyes! my eyes!" she's a bit dramatic. I bought them at Carter's, so I'm sure they're not super UV-blocking, but I figure they help a little. Since he wears them so much I should invest in a better pair for him. I have super sensitive eyes, and bright sunlight is a migraine trigger for me, so I wear mine constantly and just automatically have been putting them on him. Mine usually don't, but I've been reading up on ultraviolet radiation and am going to get a few extra pairs for the kids before we go on our trip next week. I didn't fully realize how damaging UV rays could be on kids' eyes! </p>
