We had to supply the sunscreen and sign a note giving them permission. Any sunscreen has to be the spray type, which I'm not a big believer in. So we opt out. The outdoor play spaces at our daycare are quite shaded and they're not outside for more than an hour. In the infant and toddler rooms, we had to supply our room sunscreen. Now that LO is in preschool, the school has sunscreen which they will apply to LO, or we can bring our own.
