Sounds like low blood pressure. Continue to drink lots of fluids, but, if you can, switch to G2 Gatorade. And eat something salty. The salt helps your body to utilize all those fluids you're pushing.

Most importantly - if you feel dizzy - sit down. Wherever you are. Even if you have to sit on the floor. Just sit down. It's better than fainting.

I had the same thing happen to me around the same time just once. I was lying in bed and had the spins. I got up to go to the washroom and get a drink and could hardly stand up. I lay down and still felt dizzy. It was scary. I made sure I could still feel the baby moving and then tried to sleep. I called my midwife in the morning and she said it was most likely low blood pressure and mine was always quite low.

I feel always err on the side of caution. Call if it will make you feel better.

I had it a few times, it's generally related to low blood pressure and changing positions (sitting to standing quickly) or low blood sugar. If it continues or you concerned talk to your doc but it's not something I remember them being worried about. If you're shaky and chilled maybe you're just coming down with something?

I'm 27 weeks and feel shaky, chilled, and dizzy this morning with kind of an upset stomach. The more I think of it the more panicky I become. Had yogurt and a granola bar and am trying to drink tons of water. Anyone else have this in the beginning of the 3rd trimester? I feel like I need to sit down because the room is kind of spinning, and afraid it's blood pressure-related? But I don't want to call my dr. for a dumb reason if it's normal. Help?
