@Mrsscallop I'm sure that will be the case for me too. Now that I am home for the day and I put my feet up on the couch it seems better. But it was definitely getting worse toward the end of the workday - feeling tighter and almost painful - so I guess it doesn't hurt to check it out.

I actually had this for about 2 months after baby was born. Just my left leg would swell up. I got two leg ultrasounds to check it out but never found any clots. I hope it is the same for you!

Well, I called my mom (who is a nurse) and she basically insisted I call the OB. So I called the OB and of course they insist that I come in tomorrow asap to get it checked out. Sigh... probably nothing!

Thanks all, that really makes me feel better that it's probably not "OMG emergency must deal with it now!". It's pretty minor swelling, really, although the right leg (the swollen one) does feel kind of tight/weird compared to the left. It just seems a little early on in pregnancy to have this happening, and I'm pretty thin, but I don't know. I do live in south Florida so it's hot already.

My right leg was always slightly more swollen than my left at the end of my pregnancy. It's so visually disconcerting but it was always within the range of normal and not a sign of pre-e or anything. Unless it gets severe I'd just bring it up at your next appt. compression socks helped, and make sure you are drinking as much water as you can.

This used to happen to me as well. Around 36w it got so bad that I went to the ER because my right leg and foot was SO much more swollen than my left. They did an ultrasound of my entire leg to rule out blood clots, but it turned out it was just the baby's position...she was more on my right side and therefore putting more pressure there. If it's just slight swelling and goes away when you're up and about I probably wouldn't worry too much. But definitely call if it persists or just for peace of mind.

This happened a lot to me with my first child. I had to keep my feet propped up and wear compression stockings, occasionally lay on my left side to help the swelling with my feet propped up.

So I have noticed in the past few days, only when I am at work (I sit at a desk all day), after a few hours, my left leg feels a little tight and swollen compared to my right leg. It persists all day. I don't notice it when I'm at home (where I'm either walking around doing things, maybe laying down - not sitting for hours at a time).

I'm 20 weeks pregnant. It's REALLY slight swelling, like I am not sure if it's actually there or I am maybe just over thinking it. I know that if you have one leg more swollen than the other it could be a sign of a blood clot, but I am thinking maybe it's just normal pg swelling and I need to elevate my feet/move around some more during the day?

Anyone have this? I am probably gonna call my OB regardless... but I have a CRAZY busy day and don't really have time to go in today. Ugh!

Edited to add: I just found an empty trash can so I put it upside down and now I have my feet up under my desk
