@fancyfunction: Yeah, I'm a worrier by nature and it wouldn't surprise me if that was impacting things. However, my "worry" right now is conceiving, so it's a double-edged sword:-).

@bhbee: I agree with you about talking to my Doc. I just brought it up with hubby who is generally in the dark about these things, and said I felt silly calling after only two cycles like this. He said "no, if we're trying to conceive, it's worth knowing if something is up in that area":-).

@pepper. I hope I have no real cause, either...guessing my doc is going to tell me to observe it for a few months, but I figure it can't hurt to ask?

I've had this issue in the past (is somewhat better now after having LO, though I still don't have a ton). I have PCOS and didn't ovulate normally most of the time before LO. I can't say if you have those kind of issues but I'd say it's worth a conversation with your dr about it.

This happened to me a few months back. It only lasted about 2 days and there was never any real flow. I happened to have an OBGYN appt. so after that and she wasn't concerned, just said that cycles can do funny things sometimes. I think I may have been stressing over something that caused the weirdness. It's been fine ever since.

@FaithFertility: Thanks for your thoughts. It's weird enough that I may as well call my OB tomorrow to ask. Now that we're actively TTC if this is any sort of "sign" of any potential road block, I may as well ask about it now:-/.

I have not, but I know my RE office likes to see a good few days of a red flow to count as a true period....but everyone is different!

Last month and this month AF has been incredibly strange. A half day of spotting, a day of light flow, and then a day or two of spotting. Before TTC I thought my light brown/pink days were still considered AF, but everything I've read here and elsewhere seems to suggest it isn't really a period unless it's a "flow."

As a result, should I be concerned about this? I only really had 24-hours of flow this month, and now I'm pretty spotty. Has anyone had this, and does it mean anything?

*No, I'm not pregnant. Too late for IB and just to be sure (because I had X-rays done at the dentist today), I took a HPT this afternoon. Nada.*
