Yes, I had SUPER swollen feet where I can literally see the water building up around my feet and ankles. It was GROSS. The only thing that helped me was to constantly put my feet up whenever possible (I could literally feel the water flow back up my legs!) and to cut back on sodium. It went away shortly after delivery. Oh, I also had to buy 2 pairs of flats that were a size larger. I still have them and will be using them during my 3rd trimester with this pregnancy.

I wore Crocs every day at the end of my prenancies. Ugh, the swelling sucks.

My only suggestions are to ice your feet/ankles at night; that seems to help some. Oh, and if your SO will rub your feet, that might make you feel a little better. My husband had nightly foot massage duty from like 34 weeks on. :)

I'm pushing the limits of business casual these days too- I'm wearing rainbows to work every day! Luckily I'm behind a desk most of the day so no one even notices.

@Zippyleaf- thats what I like to hear! Hopefully i will deflate right after birth

I had crazy swollen feet. They were a little better if I kept them elevated, but the second you put them down they're huge again. I just bought a pair of flip flops a size bigger and lived with it.

I'm at 36 weeks and pretty darn swollen. My hands have begun to swell as well, and I wake up with really stiff joints.

@GOLDILOCKS1107: I've been out of compliance with with the dress code as well, wearing Birkenstocks to the office. I finally borrowed a pair of shoes, two sizes bigger than my usual sizing, to wear.

Oh man, I was STUPID swollen. It started about 25-26 weeks and got worse and worse. I had to invest in a couple pairs of cheap shoes 2 sizes bigger than my normal size just so I had something to wear. I had fat little sausages where my hands, feet and ankles were supposed to be. Nothing I did made it go away at all.

Good news is that I'm 3 weeks pp now and it's pretty much gone. You drop the water pretty quickly after delivery. It does get better!

*raising hand* - just hit 36 weeks and the swollen feet showed up last week.
Nothing has worked for me yet. I'm going to ask my OB on Thursday - it's getting so uncomfortable, I'm considering compression stockings to see if that does anything.
I can only fit into my casual athletic shoes, flip flops and my workout shoes (barely). So, work people are just going to have to deal with me being out of compliance with the dress code (sorry, the work appropriate shoes don't fit and I'm not buying another pair to wear for 4 weeks!).

Does anyone else have super swollen feet? I am 35 weeks, and they are huge and are just plain uncomfortable! I try to elevate them, cut back on sodium, and drink lots of water, but nothing seems to help.

Any other suggestions? 5 more weeks of this sounds like pure torture!
