We tried justice league at 3.5 but he had no interest. He has bigger friends so he knows all the heros including ninja turtles but hasn't chosen to watch them. He still gravitates to wild Kratts and super why at almost 4. We don't have many problems with violence and we talk about it. He has a shoot gun and he knows we don't point it at people or dogs. She loves them so much, she's been tying anything with a string attached (like a box liner) to her neck and saying she's 'superdog'! I got her a cape on Etsy and she runs around saying 'E is superdog'! He was just so incredibly drawn to superheroes. He saw a picture of the Incredible Hulk in a magazine, and just started asking question after question about him!!</p> <p>If I could do it again, I would be more careful about which shows we watched. I don't think Superhero Squad is a great show, and that's the one that skews the youngest. (He's five now.) By and large, the superheroes are decent role models - if a bit violent.
