Update: I just spent 20 minutes with MS customer service. They had to intercept the packages through UPS. Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I thought -only because the person I spoke to was so nice and upbeat! I hope they pay Daryl enough!! Ahhhhh MS whyyyy ... whyyyy.

@sunny: Not the Pro, just the Surface 2 (Windows RT).

What's really, really funny is I just got a shipment notice from Microsoft saying they shipped the keyboard and free cover (you get for buying a Surface 2). They canceled the order, but not the whole order?!!!

What's really funny is I also got a shipment notification from Amazon for the iPad Air kiddie cover and Zaggkeys folio I bought for it. Lol.

I am now the proud owner of 2 keyboards for two different tablets I have yet to purchase!

Are you getting the Surface Pro 2 or the Surface 2? Gosh that is confusing isn't it!? (The Pro 2 has an Intel chip. The 2 has something else.)

I have a 1st gen Surface. It has it's pros and cons.

I like the keyboard the picture is showing. Not a fan of the touch keyboard which has no tactile feedback.

I'm also not a fan of Microsoft, but I need Office and I cringe at having to pay a subscription to use it. That's how I narrowed my search to the Surface 2. I actually ordered it, then changed my mind and canceled --- I had to call in to cancel(!) even though the order was still processing. They couldn't add a cancel button like everyone else it seems :meh:

But after all of that, I'm still going back to it. A memory slot and USB ports would be wonderful! The keyboard also seems to have great reviews. The only app I'd really miss is IG. But that's only if the thing itself works well.

I'm not a fan of anything Microsoft, so I'd stick with Apple :)

My dad has it and he is really struggling to get use to Microsoft 8, but my sister has one and loves it. (She is IT consultant though, so is much more comfortable with new tech.)

I'm not a huge fan of Windows 8... although I haven't tried it as a touch interface which it does seem much more suited for. I think it would depend on what you are planning on using this device for.

In general I don't really like Microsoft products lol. I'd steer you in the direction of Google or Samsung devices instead.

Anyone have it? Do you  it?

I'm very close to getting this, but changed my mind last minute after I found out Office is available on iPad. I think the Surface 2 will work really well for what I intend to use it for, but I'm not convinced I should leave the comforts of Apple.
