<description>&#60;p&#62;@beaker:  I went to second grade with the bag. I think I've blocked a lot of it out of my memory, but I still remember some things...like crying when my mom had to change it. I was terrified of doctors and any sort of medical procedures for a long time! I got used to needles during pregnancy and gestational diabetes, but I used to freakkkk out when I needed blood taken because I was so traumatized.

I was in and out of hospitals for over a year because of my issues (enlarged colon). I know my parents had such a hard time with it. I can't imagine going through all that with a baby. <description>&#60;p&#62;Surgery went well, the surgeon said it was very straightforward. He's already completely off breathing support, which I was not expecting, but is great. However, that means they're being conservative with the morphine, so he's not thrilled. And of course crying/startling after abdominal surgery just makes it worse. He calmed down after DH and I were able to talk to him and gently touch him. &#60;/p&#62;
