Congrats! I know it must be a lot to take in and adjust to, and definitely important to feel all the feelings, whatever they are. We are expecting our third in a couple of months, I'm definitely super, super nervous about how on earth we're going to handle three and worry that it will be difficult for my older two to have their parents stretched so thin. I see how much attention their friends who are only children get, and we already can't do that with two, let alone three. But one of the best parts is seeing how bonded my oldest (who is 3) is already to his new baby brother - he is so, so excited for a new sibling, and that relationship is to me the sweetest thing in the world.

We just had our 3rd last September. - not a surprise but a baby we debated having for a long time - and we say, probably every day - "can you believe we almost didn't have him?" or "I'm so happy we have him." Our age gaps are similar and it was the easiest transition - my big kids are so helpful and they adore him! He has been so good for our family and I'm sure you will find the same to be true for your family!

@Chuckles: Thanks! At least my DH is really excited so that makes it easier but still processing. Had some home reno plans for the winter and a trip planned for my 40th this spring that will all have to be changed/put on hold.

Congratulations! That does sound like quite a surprise, but hopefully it will be a good one once you've had time to process it.

Congratulations! I understand the surprise of a unexpected pregnancy. It's ok to feel your emotions and take time to process. It's a lot to adapt too. Stuff can always be rebought, that's not a big deal. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

I haven’t been around much lately but I needed someone to talk to and knew this was the place to go.

Just found out tonight I’m expecting #3!! So super crazy. We were done and have pretty much gotten rid of everything but the crib that #2 is still using.

My boys are 8.5 and 3. DH was shocked but happy and very positive. I balled my eyes out! I’m guessing I’m about two months but I haven’t been keeping track as my cycle was really wonky after my second. And I was taking birth control.

Sorry this is all over the place but I just needed to get it out there and have some people to chat about it with.
