I won't copy/paste all the questions, but basically:

- Pregnancies were similar, except obviously it's harder being pregnant when you have a kid already than without

- Labor/birth were super similar (39 weeks, water broke in bed at night, 8 hrs labor), except #2 was a little harder b/c they forced pitocin on me and it essentially caused precipitous labor

- Recovery for both was about the same, had a 1st degree tear for both

- Breastfeeding was easier for #2 except I got mastitis at 10 days pp (never got it with #1)

- Bringing home #2 was so much easier than I expected, even with another child at home.

Oh fun!! I'll play!

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Harder for sure! You're talking MS, big belly and a feisty toddler to go along with it. The struggle!!

Did you have similar symptoms? Not at all. Totally different symptoms, totally different pregnancies.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? With LO1 I started showing at about 17 weeks and with LO2 at about 10-12 weeks.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? Yes, found out the gender for both! With LO1, I had them write it down and read it at home. With LO2, I had no patience and had them read the results over the phone!

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? Nope, induced with 1 and scheduled with 2.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? LO1 41 w 1 d. LO2 39 w 6 d.

Was your second labor longer or shorter? MUCH shorter! It was a scheduled c-section.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? EASIER! No doubt!

How was recovery compared to the first time? Omg recovery this time around was a breeze!

Did breastfeeding come easier? Absolutely. My milk came in super quick.

What's the age difference between your babies? 3 years

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? HARDER!!!! But we adjusted after about a month or so.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder?
About the same.

Did you have similar symptoms?
Yes, first trimester queasiness and heartburn. With #2 though I also had pica and itching later on (cholestasis).

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies?
Around 20 weeks with #1, slightly later with #2

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?
Found out the sex with both.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?
Natural labor with #1, induced early with #2

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?
#1: 41w
#2: 37w

Was your second labor longer or shorter?
Longer labor, but less time pushing
#1- 5 hours of active labor including 1 hour of pushing
#2- 10 hours of labor and like 3 minutes of pushing

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder?
Harder I guess but mostly just different. My induction labor was a very slow burn so I guess less pain overall, but emotionally more difficult.

How was recovery compared to the first time?
Much easier the second time. No stitches, less swelling. I started exercising again after 2 weeks. After the first time, sex hurt at 6 weeks and took a while to feel comfortable with it. After the second time, sex felt fine after 6 weeks.

Did breastfeeding come easier?
Yes.

What's the age difference between your babies?
2 years 2 months.

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home?
Easier. Fortunately my older LO didn't have much trouble adjusting and life just went on, with little sis along for the ride.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Second was harder by far for me- I was really sick for both girls and trying to keep up with an active 2/3 year old while vomiting all day was rough.

Did you have similar symptoms? Yes- awful morning sickness for months with both plus acid reflux at the end of both

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? Number 1 about 22 weeks, number 2 maybe 12-14?

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? I was team buy all the gendered baby items for both kiddos lol

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? Induced for both (#1 for low amniotic fluid and #2 because she was 8 days late)

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? On my due date with #1, 8 days late with #2

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Second was longer (12 hours for #2 versus 8 hours for #1) but much much easier!

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? Easier!! I was more prepared so I wasn't freaking out as much. I was also less medicated and had less intervention before my epidural.

How was recovery compared to the first time? Way easier! I didn't take any meds that made me loopy for #2 and I was ready to go home the next day (with my first I would have stayed a week if they let me!). I felt confident and great since, again, I was prepared.

Did breastfeeding come easier? It was pretty easy for me with both kids fortunately.

What's the age difference between your babies? 3 years and 1 month

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? Kinda both? I was much more confident with the newborn and since I was totally prepared for sleep exhaustion it didn't bother me as much. Also DH had 2 weeks of paternity leave for our second so I had some help! However, I was really overwhelmed by our toddler for about a month which I was NOT expecting at all since she was a pretty easy kid prior to baby being born. She hit the threenager stage just as we came home and her attitude was (and still is) pretty bad. I know I can attribute some of it to new sibling adjustment issues but it was very hard for me to cope with her while still caring for a newborn.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Pregnancy with LO2 was way harder than LO1. I had gestational diabetes with LO1, so I was sticking myself constantly after about 30 weeks. But with LO2, I had 4 miscarriages by that point and was on progesterone after a uterine surgery. So the fear was so much greater. I was also sick all the time.

Did you have similar symptoms? Morning sickness only in the first trimester with LO1, all the time with LO2.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? I'm small, so I started to show early with LO1...by 14 weeks, you knew there was something up. With LO2, the same happened, only you could probably tell around 12 weeks that I was pregnant again.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? We found out with both boys. We wanted to know...I'm a planner, and it was easy for me knowing that they were both boys and both born in September.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? I went into labor naturally at 39+5 with LO1, and ended up having an emergency C-section due to him being stuck and me developing a fever after 16 hours of labor. We had a RCS with LO2. Both were exactly the same size of 6lbs, 13 oz.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? 39+5 with LO1, and went in for my RCS at 39+4 with LO2.

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Much shorter since it was a RCS!

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? It was much calmer with LO2. There was no rushing, no heartbeat dropping, and no NICU stay for LO2. That all happened with LO1.

How was recovery compared to the first time? A lot tougher actually. My incision opened up the second time around and having a 3 year old after a C-section isn't easy!

Did breastfeeding come easier? Breastfeeding with LO2 was much easier than it was with LO1. He took to it way easier. In LO1's defense, he was whisked away to the NICU and we didn't get to breastfeed until day 2, so it was harder to get him to latch. I gave up after 3 weeks and went straight to pumping.

What's the age difference between your babies? Almost 3 years exactly.

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? It was initially easier than I thought, and then LO2 became mobile and I realized how hard AF it was. They're going to be 5 and 2 coming up, so we have another year until we're out of the needing to help LO2 with everything. We're so close!

@Bea: Good find! I'll add mine in :)

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder?
Harder. I had a toddler ;)

Did you have similar symptoms?
Yes, but the morning sickness was worse.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies?
#1 I hid till about 16 weeks or so?
#2 started showing around 12 weeks.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?
Team green for both! Got a boy and a girl haha.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?
Both naturally.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?
#1: 38w3d
#2: 39w5d

Was your second labor longer or shorter?
Shorter. But I think that's because I didn't get to the hospital for my epidural with #2 until I was already at an 8...

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder?
Easier. Not that my first was hard. Delivery is actually my favorite part of pregnancy haha.

How was recovery compared to the first time?
About the same. Just road rash with #1 and just bruising with #2. I went home a day early. Only downside was the cramping of my uterus was waaaaaay worse.

Did breastfeeding come easier?
Yep, I knew what to expect and both my babies latched easily.

What's the age difference between your babies?
2 years 3 months.

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home?
I cheated, the toddler still went to daycare for part of the day. It was hard with both of them home, because my toddler really wanted physical affection and it was hard to hold them both at once. But the toddler really warmed up to the baby quickly, so that was good.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder?
Harder - I was almost put on bedrest. its hard to rest and take care of yourself while working full time and spending nights/weekends taking care of a toddler.

Did you have similar symptoms?
Yes - lots of nausea.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies?
20ish weeks - much sooner for #2 - 14 weeks?

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?
Found out gender both times.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?
Went into labor naturally for both pregnancies,

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?
LO1 - 40+2, LO2 - 37+6

Was your second labor longer or shorter?
Much shorter

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder?
Much easier

How was recovery compared to the first time?
About the same

Did breastfeeding come easier?
Yes, mainly because I knew what I was doing.

What's the age difference between your babies?
22 months

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home?
HARDER, It was really hard the first year. With 1 LO, 1 parent is actively parenting and 1 can take a break. There are no breaks with 2 kids.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? In most aspects it was easier - less nausea in the first trimester and less stressful overall. My first was IUGR so that was really scary to deal with at the end. However, being pregnant with a baby/toddler can be really hard! Like you are so exhausted but still have to take care of someone else.

Did you have similar symptoms? I guess so. I had a lot of nausea and vomiting with my first and current pregnancy in the first trimester and have been craving similar things with all three. My first two pregnancies were pretty easy. A little heartburn which presented as a gross taste in my mouth at the very end was the worst of it once I got past the first trimester.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? I don't think I really showed until about 20 weeks with my first. I just started showing with my third around 15 weeks and I think it was similar with my second.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? We tried to go :teamgreen: with our first but with the IUGR had so many ultrasounds at the end, we were told like a week before LO was born. I was so upset about the way we found out with LO1 that we found out with LO2 around 16 weeks. To be honest, I was disappointed from the moment we found out. It made the pregnancy less exciting for me so I am adamant that we will be :teamgreen: this time. But I just feel so strongly that it's a boy it's almost like we have found out!

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? I was induced at 39 weeks with #1 for IUGR. Went into labor naturally on my due date with #2.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? See above

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Really hard to compare. I was not ready for labor at my induction and so they gave me Misoprostol for 2 days before starting Pitocin. LO arrived within 6-7 hours of the start of Pitocin. With LO2, I was in early labor for a while. Contractions were not painful and were irregular for probably 20 hours. Once they started to get painful it was about 4-5 hours until LO2 arrived.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? The majority of LO2's labor was so much easier because I was at home and as comfortable as could be. We took lots of walks and brought LO1 to the playground. It was super stressful at the end because I had just been sent home from my 40 week appointment to rest (and given medication to help me sleep) when my water broke and we got stuck in rush hour traffic. LO1's labor was stressful because I was so worried about his health and the Pitocin was awful.

How was recovery compared to the first time? According to DH the immediate recovery with LO2 was much much faster. I didn't get the epidural with him and didn't have stitches so that really helped but he was over 2 lbs bigger so it took longer to feel like things were back to normal down there.

Did breastfeeding come easier? So much easier but I tandem nursed for a couple months so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it.

What's the age difference between your babies? 20 months

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? The thought of my first day alone with the two kids was my biggest fear during my pregnancy. No lie, there were tough moments but it was so much more manageable than I ever anticipated.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Harder. Was sick for 32 weeks with DS2. Fun stuff.

Did you have similar symptoms? I had carpal tunnel problems with both pregnancies. The nausea was crippling with DS2. No major nausea with DS1. DS1 I had terrible sciatic pain, and didn't have it at all with DS2.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? DS1 - started showing to other people around 20-22 weeks. DS2 - Definitely showing by 15 weeks, if not earlier.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? Found out both times.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? Scheduled c-sec with both, but #2 came early.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? 39w for DS1 (which was his scheduled date). 38w6d with DS2, which was a week before his date.

Was your second labor longer or shorter? I had 2 weeks of prodromal labor with DS2....it was difficult, to say the least. Nothing with DS1.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? Second pregnancy was harder in every way.

How was recovery compared to the first time? Recovery for the second was actually WAY easier than the first, but I'm not sure if that was more because I knew what to expect. I pushed myself to walk a lot every day around the hospital, which sped things along as well.

Did breastfeeding come easier? DS1 - milk never came in. DS2 - it came in like gangbusters. I didn't BF either for personal reasons, however.

What's the age difference between your babies? 2.5 years

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? Minus the csec/incision recovery, it was easier than I thought it would be.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Both were pretty easy but if I had to pick, the second one was more tiring.

Did you have similar symptoms? Yes.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? I can't remember witj first but second was little later.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?
Not team green.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? Induced 24 hour labor that ended with csec for first. Naturally led free birth for second.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?
41 weeks.
38 weeks.

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Much shorter.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? Harder bc it progressed super fast and no meds.

How was recovery compared to the first time?
It hurt more.
Did breastfeeding come easier? Yes. Milk came in faster. Plus I knew what I was doing.

What's the age difference between your babies?
3.5 years.

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? Not easy or hard.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Easier. I had high blood pressure, was anemic, more swollen, and more nauseous the first time. I did have more pelvic pain and trouble walking towards the end the second time.

Did you have similar symptoms? Not really.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? Earlier the second time, and I got much bigger, even though I was a similar weight at the end of pregnancy both times.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? I found out both times.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? I went into labor naturally the first time (water broke, which triggered contractions), and was induced the second time, for suspected large size.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? 39+2 for the first, 39+1 for the second

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Shorter, 8 hours versus 12 hours.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? Much easier, especially pushing. My first I pushed for two hours, needed oxygen, and had an episiotomy. My second I pushed for half an hour, but some of that time was waiting for the OB. It also helped that my induction was all in one day, compared to waking up at 2 am.

How was recovery compared to the first time? Easier, but both were really very easy. I felt like myself, and was going on long walks by the time I got home. The second time, I felt pretty normal by the next morning, and my OB did not even bother to examine me my second morning, because I was doing so well.

Did breastfeeding come easier? Yes, much easier, although neither were especially bad. My first experience was much more painful, and I had trouble getting him to latch at first. My second took to it right away.

What's the age difference between your babies? 2.5 years

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? Significantly harder. My oldest always wanted attention when my youngest was getting attention. I found it challenging to nurse the baby and entertain my oldest at the same time, especially with a newborn who needed a lot of help latching. I also feel like I can't give either of them enough attention, especially my oldest, because of the amount of time spent nursing. He gets plenty of time with DH, but I want him to have time with me, too.

Oh this was my post! I've had two so I can answer now :)

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder?
My first pregnancy I had lots of morning/all day sickness and was really emotional. The second time, I never had any sickness/queasiness so that made things easier. I think I also had a better handle on my hormones.
Did you have similar symptoms?

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies?
I think with #1 I had a noticeable bump around 18/20 weeks. The second time was way earlier.. probably around 13/14

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?
We found out with both, but won't for our next ( if we get blessed with a third)

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?
Naturally both times

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?
37w5d with #1, 37w2d with #2

Was your second labor longer or shorter?
Shorter, but with my first, my water broke first (8am) and then contractions about an hour later. Baby was born at 1:49pm) So 6 hours start to finish.
With #2, contractions started first, lightly and getting timable around 2pm. Baby was in arms at 5:25pm.
The biggest difference was with #1 I pushed for 45 minutes, and with #2 I pushed for less than 10.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder?
Was labour easier ( I didn't make this question clear?) I don't know, I think the first time it was less painful, but not really easier or harder.

How was recovery compared to the first time?
The first time I was in so much pain after for about 1-2weeks. I could hardly sit to drive, walking made me want to die. The second time, 3 days post partum I had a baby strapped to me and we were walking about 5km.

Did breastfeeding come easier?
I was blessed to have a easy time breastfeeding both times. However, my first had difficulty gaining weight and I had to pump extra and supplement with it after each feed. My second was a tank and the Dr was amazed at how quickly she was gaining weight.

What's the age difference between your babies?
18 months

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home?
Way easier. We got into a routine quite nicely. My older one adapted to a sibling much better than I thought she would. She watched a lot of t.v that first month or two, but just remember to be kind to yourself and don't put too much pressure on yourself.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Due with #3 right now and all have been about the same.

Did you have similar symptoms? About the same.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? #1 and #2 were very similar. I had 3 years in between. #3 I'm showing much earlier but only 2 years in between and less in shape.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? We were TG with #1 and #2 (girl then boy). For #3 we found out at 16 weeks.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? First two were both inductions, planning for the same to happen with #3.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? Same, just after 39 weeks.

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Second labor was MUCH shorter and a lot less pushing.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? #2 was much easier in general. I was much less worried and we knew what to expect for the most part.

How was recovery compared to the first time? Same.

Did breastfeeding come easier? Yes, much easier. Again, less worry, knew what to expect. Harder to keep up supply though because I also was dealing with the older child.

What's the age difference between your babies? 3 year and now 2 years

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? I WOH so it wasn't too terrible. The 6-12 month stage was tough in the evenings adjusting to dealing with a cranky baby at dinner after work.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder?
Harder - more tired, nausea was more intense (but didn't last as long).

Did you have similar symptoms?
Yes, almost identical in the beginning

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies?
#1 I didn't have to wear maternity clothes until 22 weeks, and wasn't noticeable until then. Next successful pregnancy (I've had 2 miscarriages) I was in maternity by 9 weeks and couldn't hide it after 13 weeks.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?
Team Green for both kids.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?
#1 labor was natural
#2 I had to be induced

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?
#1 40w4d
#2 41w5d

Was your second labor longer or shorter?
They were both relatively the same length, but I pushed for 3 hours with #1, and only had to push 2x with #2.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder?
#1 my labor came on quick, lost my plug, contractions started, doctors thought I would have the baby in no time. Got an epidural and it completely stalled my progress. I developed a fever, which was why the nurse had me start pushing earlier than I think my body was ready for, but they were concerned that the fever would go to the baby. I never felt the real urge to push (hence having to push for so long to get the baby to move down).
#2 I had no progress and was induced. It took a while for the pitocin to finally kick in, but once it did, things moved along fairly quickly and I only pushed when I felt the urge to.

How was recovery compared to the first time?
Recovery the second time was harder, but I think it was because I wanted to get back to 'life' and had DS1 to take care of as well. I rushed it.

Did breastfeeding come easier?
No, but because DS2 was born with a heart defect that affected his breathing/eating.

What's the age difference between your babies?
3.5 years

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home?
Easier - but DS1 was older, very helpful and already independent. It amazed me how immediately life fell into place, it was like DS2 had always been there. Not saying that it was really easy, but still not as hard.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder?

Second pregnancy was marginally harder. More nausea and body aches in the first tri. More discomfort in the second and difficulty with my hips in the third tri.

My third pregnancy was by far the easiest.

Did you have similar symptoms?
Similar for one and two. I had no symptoms with baby three. She went undetected for ten weeks.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies?

I was pregnant to strangers by 15 weeks with my first. Probably 10/11 weeks with my second.
With my third I was 3.5 months lost postpartum and pretty much just went from pregnant to fluffy to "she hasn't lost the weight yet?!" to very pregnant in a span of six months.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?
Team pink every time. 😊

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?
Induced with #1. RCS for 2&3.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?
DD1 40w0d
DD2 39w4d
DD3 38w4d

Was your second labor longer or shorter?
My first was 57 hours. For my next two we cut to the chase so to speak.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder?
RCS was definitely easier than multiple day labor and emergency section

How was recovery compared to the first time?
Easier for the second and even easier for the third.

Did breastfeeding come easier?

A few bumps with the second. She had a shallow latch that was fixed by one week.
No problems at all with my third.

What's the age difference between your babies?
23.5 months between 1&2, 12.5 months between 2&3.

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home?

Is hard leading the house and navigating the logistics of who needs what and when but once we're out it's not too bad. I expected it to be a lot worse.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder?

About the same, but I was a lot sicker with #2. I also was more active and gained less weight.

Did you have similar symptoms? Very similar, just a longer stretch of nausea with #2.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies?

Showed as a true "bump" after the 20 week mark; probably the same the second time around (I weighed slightly less going into my second pregnancy) Though I feel like the bloat started way sooner.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?

We found out with both. :boy: :boy:

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?

Went into labor naturally with #1 at 40w2d (contractions), had him at 40w3d.

DS2 - water broke at 38 w, he was born seven hours later.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?

40w2d; 38w

Was your second labor longer or shorter? WAY shorter.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? Easier! I went medfree and def credit that to my easier, faster labor/delivery/recovery! (I had an IV edema following my first delivery from the epi as well as an episiotomy after two hours of pushing).

How was recovery compared to the first time AMAZING! :) I felt great right away!

Did breastfeeding come easier? Milk came in faster, but overall was "easy" both times. DS2 had a tongue tie clipped his first week.

What's the age difference between your babies? just over 2.5 years.

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home?

Transition to two was much easier than being a first time mom. I'm more confident in my choices and DS2 was an even more go with the flow/easier baby than DS1 who was already an amazingly easy baby for a FTM. So grateful.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? About the same

Did you have similar symptoms? Yes, except in my 1st trimester. I was a little more nauseous in my 1st tri with my 2nd pregnancy.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? I don't think I really started showing until 20 weeks with my 1st. With my 2nd, I felt like I showed by 14 weeks!

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? Yup

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? Yup, both times

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? I was 10 days early with #1, and 1 day early with #2.

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Shorter, by half the time! 10 hours with #1, and 5 hours with #2.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? Easier

How was recovery compared to the first time? WAY EASIER. I didn't tear at all, and felt so much more like myself right away.

Did breastfeeding come easier? Harder - #2 had a weaker latch, and I also struggled a lot with oversupply the 2nd time around (my fault because I started pumping on top of breastfeeding pretty much right away). I didn't want to deal with a bottle strike like I did the first time around, so gave him a bottle a day starting at week 2.

What's the age difference between your babies? 26 months.

Was it easier or harder than you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? Easier because #2 was a really easy baby, slept all the time, and rarely cried unless he was hungry, tired, or pooped in his diaper. DH also was very hands on so we divided and conquered a lot. He pretty much handled toddler duty full-time while I handled the baby.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? I had more morning sickness in the second pregnancy, but overall they were both very easy and I was comfortable and worked up until the end both times.

Did you have similar symptoms? More morning sickness with #2 (a girl), but otherwise just some mood swings with both.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? I showed about the same both times, maybe around 14 weeks?

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? Team green both times!

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? Naturally both times.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? 40 weeks both times.

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Much shorter! I was at the hospital for almost 6 hours before with #1 and only 3 hours before delivering #2.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? Labor? It was faster, so therefore easier!

How was recovery compared to the first time? Similar. I was up on my own immediately and had no recovery issues except hemorrhoids.

Did breastfeeding come easier? WAY EASIER. This was by far the biggest difference in the beginning. With #1 this was so overwhelming in the beginning and with #2 it was a non issue.

What's the age difference between your babies? 20 months

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? My older child went to daycare, so it was easier. Everything about having a newborn was easier the second time. I forgot how much newborns sleep!

Have fun!

I have two already - they just turned 2 and 5. I'm due with #3 this month.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Harder. I worked full time and went to school in the evening during my first pregnancy so I thought a second pregnancy would be easy-peasy since I became a SAHM. Wrong!! It was very difficult. My third pregnancy hasn't been as hard as the second though but hard in terms that I had two children to take care of and no break.

Did you have similar symptoms? Kind of. I had extreme morning sickness (getting sick 5+ times a day until the third trimester)

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? #1, around 20 weeks. #2, 12 weeks and #3, 10 weeks

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? Yes

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)? Yes with #1, no with #2 (had to be induced on due date for hypertension), and we'll find out soon with #3!

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one? 40 weeks with my first. When I was admitted for my induction with my second, they told me I was already in early labor.

Was your second labor longer or shorter? Shorter by 3 hours.

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder? Harder. Pitocin stinks.

How was recovery compared to the first time? Way easier the second time and bled a lot less.

Did breastfeeding come easier? No. It was slightly harder the second time.

What's the age difference between your babies? 3 years, 1 month and 2 years, 1 month

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? Easier in some ways. My first didn't notice her much! But it was difficult when my first would wake up at 6am after we were awake all night and harder when they couldn't nap at the same time.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder? Easier overall but I had GD and I was sick a lot in my 3rd trimester.

Did you have similar symptoms? No, I didn't get morning sickness until 13 weeks!

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies? 8-10 weeks with LO 2. I started showing at 10+ weeks for LO 1.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next? Yes, elective ultrasounds at 16 weeks for both girls.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?
I had a repeat C-section at 39 weeks

How was recovery compared to the first time? About the same, I felt better at 3 weeks PP.

Did breastfeeding come easier? It was easier overall but my LO threw up a lot the first 5-6 weeks and that was stressful.

What's the age difference between your babies? almost 16 months

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home? Easier but DH was home for 5 weeks. and LO went to daycare.

I have 2, 15 months apart. DS is now 26 months and DD is 11 months.

Compared to your first pregnancy, was the subsequent pregnancy easier/harder?
Both pregnancies were easy, in that I had no complications. The first one was easier in that I could rest when I wanted to, and not chase an infant/young toddler around. And with my second I had a breech baby, which led to pretty bad sciatic pain

Did you have similar symptoms?
No. I had no nausea with number 1, with food aversions. Nimber 2 I had no food aversions, but was nauseous for the first 16/17 weeks.

When did you start to show with #1 / How about with the next pregnancies?
Number 2, people started to notice about 13/14 weeks. Number two, I was hiding it starting like 11/12 weeks.

If you found out the gender of #1/were team green with #1, did you do the same for the next?
We found out both times. I'm glad I did. But if we were to have a third(not planning on it) we would be team green. I wish I would have done it once.

Did you go into labor naturally with #1? What about the next time(s)?
No. With number 1, I was induced at 40w6d. With number 2 it was a scheduled c-section due to prior c-section 15 months earlier.

How far along were you when you went into labor with #1? Did you go earlier/later with the next one?
See above.

Was your second labor longer or shorter?
Shorter, due to c-section ;)

Was it 'easier' in general? Harder?
I'm assuming this is regarding labor...it was easier because I didn't labor the first time and just had a c-section.

How was recovery compared to the first time?
Easier in that I knew what to expect and I hadn't labored before the c-section. Harder in that in that I had a 15 months old and a newborn to take care off.

Did breastfeeding come easier?
Yes. Although, I chose to formula feed as I prefer it for my family.

What's the age difference between your babies?
15 months.

Was it easier or harder then you thought it would be having a newborn with other kids at home?
It was easier. I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but we adjusted well. It was still really hard, but it got easier every day :)
