Great article and @bluestriped bee: @Happygal: My policy has been to not tell anyone when we are doing a cycle because I don't want the questions. My hope is that while it is unlikely I will one day find out I am pregnant without treatment, I would like to be able to tell our families and friends when I am ready rather than having people waiting anxiously for an answer, its too much added pressure and I put enough on myself as it is.

@Happygal: Yeah, I know what you mean. I love that my sister is supportive of my IF struggle, but she has a few times asked me if I was pregnant and of course, I always tell her when I will find out... which means she asks me around the time of the BFN, which is not the best time. I should stop telling people what CD I'm on. Although, I'm on FF, so people see it anyway. My sister is just curious and trying to be supportive by it. So I can't be mad at her. (Which I'm not usually am. I just upset that I'm still not pregnant.)

I'm about to head out, so I'll have to read this later tonight. Looking forward to reading their tips!

I've been trying to figure out how to deal with (the very few) people who know we're gearing up for an IUI. I like to have some support, but if it is successful, I won't want to tell anyone until we're nearing the end of the first trimester. So I've been trying to figure out how to politely say, "Don't ask if I'm pregnant!" I don't want to feel like I have to lie about it.

@spaniellove: You had an IF coach? I didn't know! How did you find them?

Rehearsing your responses is helpful, not just with the TWW but for many aspects of IF. I feel like I remember my IF coach making me do that with her for instance before a consult.

This has some good ideas.

http://www.resolve.org/support-and-services/pregnancy-after-infertility/surviving-the-2-week-wait.html

Tell people 'no news is bad news' so people aren't asking me if I'm pregnant around the time of my BFN.

What do you think of this link?
