Unless she was in the moby, occasionally in the stroller, or being nursed to sleep, she just didn't fall asleep. So when I knew I wanted to try to put her down, I'd swaddle her before nursing bc otherwise she would wake up as soon as I put her down. She had a strong Moro reflex and would wake herself up constantly without it. Have you seen the swaddle strap? Up until then, it didn't seem to matter if she was swaddled or not. But now what we do is wait until she starts yawning/rubbing her eyes, then swaddle her and put her down awake but drowsy. Seems to work pretty well. </p> <p>As far as MOTN feedings go, I keep her swaddled. By about 8 weeks or so, she was only peeing during the night, and I'd read somewhere to leave the diaper if it was just wet. That way, she doesn't wake up any more than necessary. </p> <p>Hope all goes well for you! She was also a not so good napper so I gave her all her sleep cues- swaddle, white noise, dark room. She would usually wear whatever she already had in under the swaddle unless it would be uncomfortable, like a dress with extra fabric. Do you swaddle for every nap? If so, what does your LO wear under the swaddle? What's your routine?</p> <p>Lucy is almost 7 weeks and we just started using the SwaddleMe wraps. She's sleeping beautifully tonight, but she has not been a good napper, so I'm wondering if it would help. </p>
