I think we're going to try the zippidee and the merlin to see what works better for us. I just wish every piece of baby equipment wasn't so pricey, I feel like I'm hemorrhaging money. Also we are so terrified of ruining her wonderful night time sleep... no good day time sleep to ruin so we will probably start there. The ped actually suggested waiting until then. Probably bought us an extra month. We tried weaning earlier (at the first sign of rolling in general) and he wasn't having any of it. Once he started rolling over we switched to the Merlin and it was pretty seamless. And for an arm flailer/ difficult sleeper the zipadee did not work at all for us. (he was waking too early without the swaddle). the Merlin was magical for us, and I wish I could still use it!!<br /> but to answer your question, I had success using the convertible woombie. We took one arm out, then the other, and he did fine (well besides the early wakeups). Which is not that magical for me. But she could roll over so well that swaddling just wasn't an option. My baby seems to be on the verge or rolling back to front. I thought I'd have at least another month of the swaddle (she's only 15 weeks), but today I put her on her mat and turned my back for a second and when I came back she was on her side almost flipped over! </p>
