i would buy without. Both Charlie and Olive weaned very easily from a swaddle to a regular sleep sack.

We just switched to a regular sleep sack (from the miracle blanket). LO likes the sleep sack now, especially the Halo soft velboa one - it's really soft, and he likes to feel the fabric.

I'd go without. My LO is pretty chunky but I felt like the swaddle wings around his tummy made no difference.

I would go with just the sack. I think Halo also makes one that has a removable swaddle? I might be making that up, though...

We went from the woombie to the halo sleep sack with swaddle wings....it was good for transitioning from both arms in to only one arm in. But once she was ready for both arms out, we went straight to the regular sleep sack (she would play with the velcro on the swaddle wings) and I worries about her falling asleep with the wings on her face.

I am a huge fan of the Magic Sleepsuit! I was terrified of weaning my swaddle addicts, and these little suits not only made it super-easy, but they got them to STTN...

I would buy the one without but if you want the one with, just in case, it is easy enough to snip the thread to get rid of the wings.

We are in the same spot as you and I did get the one with the swaddle wings on it. It gives us uptions to do one arm or around the belly, which DD does seem to like.

I figured if we end up not needing it it isn't too much of a pain to just loosely put it around her until we don't use the sleep sack anymore.

Personally, I would just go for the one without. I didn't like the one with the wrap on it. Also, I still use the swaddle me regularly and just wrap it around her waist. You might try that as an in between.

LO sleeps with one arm out in a swaddleme blanket. We are getting ready to swaddle wean. Should I buy the halo sleep sack that has the swaddle option or just the regular ones ? Wondering if wrapping that middle piece (even with arms out) will make him feel somewhat swaddled/secure or would it be pointless ??
