I used the swaddleme's for both LOs until maybe 5 mo. They made swaddling so much easier and neither of them ever got out of it (guess my babies weren't that strong). The Velcro goes out after a while though, that's my only complaint. There are so many Swaddle type blankets and wraps nowadays though, you may want to investigate different kinds and see what others like.

They were great for the first few months. I never got the hang of the big swaddle blankets and my LO was so small those blankets overwhelmed him He was swaddled in a swaddle me for every nap and sleep from 1 week until 10 weeks when he busted out of them. From that point on, we used the miracle blanket until around 4 months when we swaddle weaned him altogether.

We used them a lot when DS was a newborn. He was able to bust out of them by the time he was 2 months old...maybe a little bit older. After that, I used an A+A swaddle blanket and a receiving blanket to create a mock miracle blanket. It was perfect! He rarely broke out of it!

They're nice when LOs are small ... but they are easy to bust out of when they get older. Miracle blankets are a little more fool-proof :)

I have heard great things about them from RL friends. We have received like 4 or 5 for baby. We will see if she likes it.

I love ours! The first night we used it Lo slept 7 hours straight (up from 5) and its only gotten better since then. Granted I think he also happens to be a good sleeper (knock wood).

I was pretty against them and thought I would swaddle with blankets just like I had my two older girls. I ended up getting a swaddle blanket as a gift and my LO sleeps so much better when she is in it. I recanted all my bad thoughts about them:)

With our first LO, he was so opposed to be swaddled that I just didn't swaddle him at all. After many many many failed attempts, I just gave up. He would get his elbows going, get his arms free, and the next thing I knew, he was completely out. So we didn't bother.

I know I should have the nurses show me how to swaddle better for this next time around but maybe I should invest in the SwaddleMe blankets? Would that help with this next one's sleep? Keep them from fussing less? Has anyone invested in these? Are they worth it?
