@Mrs. High Heels: Haha I seriously considered it!! But we're at Bee's mom's place and I didn't know where she keeps her onions and there was Advil right there... so I just caved and took it.

I came down with something similar @mrbee, just yesterday. Fever no other real symptoms. And after the fever broke I was so sweaty and woke up dripping with sweat and the sheets were stuck to me. Still sweatier than usual today.

@mrbee: You were just traveling, too.

The day or two after I came home from Vietnam, I had a fever. I felt fine getting off the plane and a few hours after but I think it was that night I had chills and a fever. I think I caught something on the plane I think.

A friend of mine who traveled to China a few times said she would get sick with a fever a few days after coming home from a long international flight.

I don't remember if I had headaches but I know I was in bed for the next day or so.

For the sweating, I would lay in bed with a cold towel over my forehead. It got me to get some sleep, too.

Yuck, I do that too! I hate that feeling but I know I'm on my way to getting well when it happens. Rest up and hydrate! I always drink pedialyte or Gatorade along with water when I'm getting over a fever and sweat it out like that.

I sure hope you feel better soon! I agree- drink water, and rest if you feel like you could use it. I don't get fever often, and it always makes me feel so yuck.

I had a headache and fever yesterday... the fever finally broke after I took some Advil and took a cold bath.

Since then, I have been sweating like crazy from my head! I figure this is the body's way of detoxing or something...

Anyone else start sweating after a fever breaks? Is there anything I should be doing to get better faster?
