The swim diapers being mandatory made a big difference. She gets completely soaked (me too!). The tricky part is getting her re-dressed in a diaper before walking home. Also, I used to work for Parks and Rec and we required it on our splash pads. Most splash pads have recycled water. Since they're not fully submerged in water I'm not sure if one is necessary or not. LO wasn't walking last summer so we haven't done splash pads yet, but are planning to go to one in a couple of weeks. </p>
