We used iplay swim diapers... The disposables just got so heavy and would start falling apart, at least for me.

We've used Little Swimmers disposable swim diapers and have been happy with them. We did go swimming very much last year, so we didn't really think about reusable.

We use an iPlay swim diaper. I've also just used an unstuffed pocket diaper in the past when I forgot the actual swim diaper.

I use an applecheeks swim diaper, which I love. As a former lifeguard I will tell you that disposable swim diapers will not save you from a blowout. And then you're the family who shut the pool down for cleaning ;)

We use a cloth swim diaper since we do weekly swim lessons. We just buy $11 Speedo type diapers from our school.

We are in the pool a lot. I've used a few different things (all reusable). When she was little I used an un-stuffed pocket and a bummis swim diaper over it. Our pool requires TWO barriers.

I liked the bummis because it comes all the way unfastened and it held up well. The velcro snagged my suits, and I didn't love that.

Now I use a motherease over an unstuffed pocket and I prefer this one. It snaps so no swim suit snags and it has really grown with her. We used it from 10 months till 19 and it still has lots of room for growing and has held up to months of pool trips.

I have only used disposable. I haven't noticed a difference between Huggies and Pampers, I normally pick up which ever one I see first! And, just so you know this, don't change your LO into a swim diaper and then drive a distance to the pool, because they aren't that water absorbent. The pee will come out of the diaper and get everywhere. I think the purpose of a swim diaper is to keep the poop in, should the baby go poop.

Have fun! Swimming with a baby is so fun :)

What do you use for swim diapers for your lo? We're going to start swimming soon and I have a swimsuit but trying to figure out what to put underneath - disposable or reusable? Any brand recommendations?
