It was no big deal for us- we would go grab a snack or read a book. I would just bring a couple big thick towels per kid so they can get wrapped up while they wait. Outdoor pools are not really a thing here because the weather is so bad. I'm sure they exist but all my local pools are indoor, chlorinated ones; you wouldn't sit around the pool - there are no sun loungers or anything. If you were sat at the side of the pool (eg kids swim lessons), you'd be fully dressed. "Adult swim" means lane swimming (adult only being necessary because kids get in the way). You wouldnt "relax in the pool" at my local pool. We used the time to go to the bathroom and have a drink and snack and reapply sunscreen. Is that a new thing? Regional? Is that a rule at your local pool?</p> <p>I don't mind the rule but it makes for very cold kids since we swim outdoors after work. Any tips on keeping the kids warm would be appreciated. </p>
