@PinkElephant: I also have a Trina Turk same style that @jape14: posted but different colors. I never had slippage and always get compliments when I wear it! I’d also check out her website and Nordstrom for free shipping/returns. I’m 138lbs, large B/small C and got a size 8. I actually bought mine off of eBay. 😊

Otherwise, Nordstrom always has a nice selection online.

I have two of these from Target - they are SUPER flattering to a mommy body and cheap! I felt comfortable in this just a month postpartum, and that is saying alot of how much it sucks you in haha.

@PinkElephant: I just looked at the athleta site and they currently have practically no swim! I’m hoping it’s because of the time of year but they usually have a good selection year round. I will be so disappointed if they faze out their swim stuff! (And so will half the moms at our pool since I recognize the styles all the time).

@PinkElephant: I’ve worn it ~3 weeks post weaning with LO1 and while nursing LO2 and had no slippage issues! I have huge fluctuations while pregnant/nursing too - like up 3-4+ cup sizes - and no problems. My band size never changes so I can’t vouch for that but I honestly just make DH tie it really tight and no nip slips haha!!

@PinkElephant: have you looked at J.Crew's swimsuits? They are so flattering and hold up well. I love their one-pieces and their high-waisted bottoms, and they run the same colors in different styles so you can mix and match them super easily and get the top that flatters post-nursing boobs :)

@Mamaof2: agree with Boden! I’m eyeing some for myself right now. I bought a one piece from them a few years ago for lap swimming and it was true to size according to their measurements and held up for a long time, considering that I swam 4-5 times per week.

@Mamaof2: Wow, I really like that! I buy lots of Boden for the kids, but not usually for myself. I may have to give it a go - any insight on how their women's swim sizing runs?

@Foodnerd81: Good tip! I *think* we have an Athleta in one of the malls nearby, so maybe I'll leave the kids in school for aftercare one day and go shopping!

@jennlin821: @Lahela017: Our Sears have all closed, but a new stand-alone Lands' End is opening (if it hasn't already) in the same complex as an Off Fifth and Nordstrom Rack about 25 minutes from me...I might need a field trip!

@erinbaderin: For some reason I didn't think of them - I remember my friend used to order cup-size swimsuits from them, so I'll have to look. Thanks!

@jape14: @Littlebit7: I've shied away from this style in the past because while I'm not huge in the chest now that I'm no longer bfing, I definitely need support thanks to the huge changes in cup size I have during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I'd love to give one of these a try if you're saying you don't have slippage issues! :)

I love athleta suits. They are generally a little sportier, but I think they are supportive, well made, and stay in place, without looking too much like mom suits. I have a few tankinis from there that I like. The only problem i have is their sale stuff has been final sale and I won’t order a bathing suit final sale unless I had already tried it on.

@jape14: ohhhh yes!! I just read this! I have it in two colors also! It is amazing, fabric is A+, cut is forgiving. I’ve worn one of my pre and post partum and it’s always so good. And the plunge does hold the ladies in pretty well unless my kiddo makes a swipe for them. I have almost the same measurements as well except I’m 120 maybe after a big stomach flu, lol.

I highly, highly recommend this Trina Turk cross back swimsuit - I have it in three colors. The plunge might seem scary but the cross back tie is hefty and holds everything in (I'm built similarly to you - 5'7", 125, 32c). They carry them in lots of places but I've purchased at both Amazon and Lord & Taylor.

Another vote for Lands End!! I buy all my suits from them and love them. They are great quality and very flattering.

I usually order a few and then return the ones I don't like at Sears without having to deal with shipping. However, since Sears stores are basically all closing, I'm not sure if you can return in the stores or not (if you even have one near you still).

At this time of year, I think that Lands End will be a good option. They have tons of choices, so pick a few to order knowing that you'll send them back. You could choose a one piece, a tankini, and a bikini - see which fits the best.
I haven't bought swim suits from them, but I've found some other great pieces from them for my ever-changing post baby body!

I need a new swimsuit! I feel like all summer I made do with "okay" suits for the pool with my kids. I didn't really care because I looked ok, and while I was seeing friends, it wasn't like we were taking photos or anything. Well, we're taking an improptu beach vacation as a family just before Christmas, and I'd really like to up my swimsuit game. My goal is to look cute and less mom-ish without worrying about boobs or bum popping out. Open to one piece, tankini, or even other 2-piece styles that aren't TOO revealing. I'd love some ruffles, cute ruching, or a fun print. I like skirted/ruffled bottoms, but don't HAVE to have them.

I'd spend up to $100 or so for something fabulous, but would really rather keep it around or under $50 if that's at all possible

I'm 5'4", 120 lbs, and a 32C (small c or big b, really), with boobs that have fed 3 babies, so need more than triangle top :) :) :)

Thanks for any leads - you all are awesome at this!!
