As soon as I would get the straps on she would be screaming. So I got a bouncer, and initially she wasn't fond of that either, but now she loves to just hang out and look around. She is starting to like the swing a little more, but still won't last more than 10 minutes. Also, a swing is probably better to buy new because some people have issues with the motors running out because they are used so much. A bouncer obviously wouldn't have that problem. </p> <p>When looking at bouncers, two features that we liked was padding around the sides and easy movement. When they are so little their heads kinda flop to the sides and some dont have great padding around the side bars. Also when they are little its hard for them to kick their legs and get any "bounce" going.
