We needed to move the crib to a different room when our reno was done, and had to get new screws for it then because they'd essentially ruined them and it couldn't otherwise handle another round of disassembly/assembly. Maybe just bad movers... I think we will set it up for him(our contractor) for a couple of weeks! and then he’s familiar with it at the apartment. We did each step for a couple of weeks. I was thinking the same. Therefore, we can work on staying in the bed and room since he was jumping out of his crib but it stopped the last two weeks. Another quest- do you think it’s okay to assemble now and then have the movers take it apart in about 2.5 weeks and put it back together in the apartment???? It won’t mess with the quality right? same for the cribs? That way he can forget about the crib a little so it doesn’t feel competitive with the baby, and he’ll have something familiar when you move. Trying to see when it will be best to transition 3.5/4 year old to his new twin bed??? Before the move to the apartment or once we get to the apartment? New baby coming in August and he is currently in the crib. what’s best and would be easier for LO? I was thinking to set it up here and have movers move it to apartment and he’s already slept in it or just have it set up day one in Apartment? We are moving again but I think he will be okay because he would have slept in the twin bed... opinions/experiences/advice? Thank you! </p>
