I'm not sure on the teething, but i wanted to share that a swollen gland was the only symptom that my son had strep. No fever, ate normal, slept good, no cold. Tested positive because i noticed the swollen gland and brought him to urgent care to get it checked. Hope she feels better soon!

Hi all! About a week ago, I was holding my 19 month old’s chin while brushing her teeth when I noticed a swollen gland between her jaw and ear. It’s only on one side, and she doesn’t have any cold or allergy symptoms. I have an appt for later in the week to get her checked out but curious if this has ever been a symptom of teething (back molars) for other LOs. She’s been extra mouthy lately (sticking hands in there, sucking on teething rings), so I had assumed teething was the culprit but seemed like a weird symptom. Thanks!
